Major projects have included: - Leading a team of 50 to rebuild the actuarial models for a FTSE100 insurer - Leading a team of 35 to develop and produce projected balance sheets to support a pan European restructuring for a global insurer - Drafting a strategy for significantly improving the elapsed times for financial reporting, with a focus on the integration of IFRS, EEV and Solvency II reporting and allowing for expected change for IFRS17 - Implementation of European Embedded Value reporting in Aviva, the first implementation of this reporting metric worldwide - Restructuring actuarial modelling and product support teams - Scoping and re-planning the 25m modelling activity for a UK insurer’s Solvency II project - Leading design, build and test of a with-profits actuarial model for the UK subsidiary of a global insurer - Providing independent SME advice to a number of insurers to support their business activities, including Solvency II gap analyses, software purchase decisions and target operating models
