At the time of joining GuildQuality I worked directly with the only one other engineer to cut my teeth on the tech stack. Our product was a PHP application with jQuery driven interaction on the front end. We added a mobile app that I wrote in the Titanium framework and successfully delivered to both Android and iOS. We added a few additional developers and expanded the product to provide a client-facing conversion funnel for our customers. Joining ShootProof started similarly where I worked with the technical co-founder as the only engineering hire at the time. We took the product from its early iteration in PHP and jQuery to an AngularJS frontend and our team of 2 to over a dozen engineers. Again we found the need to adapt our product to keep up with our scale and transitioned the frontend to react. In 2018, I began contributing to the larger team at Gather where my contributions were equally team focused as I implemented processes to educate and improve the effectiveness of the entire engineering team, QA team, and visibility into the constraints and progress of the engineering team externally, to the rest of the company. I was one of 5 co-founders of a company called VinWiki that provides a solution that creates a running history of automobiles tracked by the unique identifier on each vehicle, the VIN, and opens the contributions to the greater market building a highly visible, high volume account of the industry. My role was to create the web app for the product which is still in use and is written in AngularJS. My journey continued to Calendly where I took charge of a new initiative towards iterative growth through experimentation and A/B testing. In 2022 I joined FanDuel where I switched focus to supporting internal teams with our code modularization effort. For the last few years, I've joined Jzilla Trackdays as staff and currently hold the title of Instructor Development Coordinator where I build and maintain curricula that develops drivers and those who instruct and coach these drivers to be effective and safe in a performance environment. We teach thousands of drivers every year to push the limits on racetracks and in performance modules around the country and in Europe.
