I began my professional life in 2008 at Garanti Bank Anti-Fraud Department after graduating from Industrial Engineering Department of Galatasaray University. I started working as a risk analyst in application fraud team. In 2011, we established Risk Analysis and Reporting team and changed it as Risk Analysis and System Development which I manage since the establishment in 2011. I speak English and French. I'm learning Spanish as well. I worked on various fraud management tool integration projects including application fraud, card fraud, merchant fraud and account fraud across all channels, internet/mobile banking, call center and branches. I worked with many vendors in these projects and strengthened my experiences with world class consultants. I worked mainly on FICO – Falcon Fraud Manager projects including Falcon 6 Credit, Debit and DDA, Falcon FFM, Falcon ID Consumer Loan and Credit Card, Application Fraud Manager and Falcon Merchant Monitoring. As a part of my job, I also have a deep knowledge about fraud trends and the proactive risk mitigation actions against them. I’m currently interested in the usage of big data in fraud management and the readiness of fraud detection systems for the evolving technological developments in the sector.
