My skills : • Performing installation, Provisioning, commissioning,troubleshooting and handling optical transmission systems • Performing OTDR, Ethernet, BERT and SONET acceptance testing • Assists Engineering Department and Network Administrators with network construction activities and required Engineering paperwork including but not limited to: Engineering Packages, Red Lines and As Builts • Provide preliminary site surveys for building entrance construction requirements and equipment space availability • Provide support for contractor splicing activities as • Perform fiber acceptance testing • Monitor contractor, vendor and customer co-location installations, equipment placement and testing • Provide support during large scale outages and disaster recovery efforts Knowledge • SONET and TDM Fundamentals • Metro-Ethernet Fundamentals • CWDM & DWDM Fundamentals • IP & MPLS Fundamentals • MOP process (preparation and administration)
