I chose to step into a more hands-on sales role, after identifying a major market opportunity. In my technical sales role, I have quickly helped revitalized the LA business, adding significant new business including a deal to supply one of the city’s largest construction project. In prior positions, I have delivered similar results by constantly pushing beyond the status quo to look for new opportunities and untapped market segments. Again, my ability to find new prospects and build relationships in a short period of time helped me excel in these roles. My ability to build strong and lasting customer relationships has also been key to my success. My consultative sales style has allowed me to attain a conversion rate of over 70%. I firmly believe that you can’t sell effectively unless you truly understand the issues faced by the customer, and this approach has allowed me to build an extensive and loyal network within the construction industry. Consultative selling also is one of my strong points. I have an MBA with double concentrations in Logistics & Supply Chain Management and Leadership & Management, and a BS in Business Administration.
