For example, I was the president of the Student Activities Council for one year. During this time, I was responsible for allocating funds to various clubs based on each clubs request. This shows that I am open minded and will hear the opinions of those I am working with before making any important decisions. Another skill I learned while attending Kent State is the ability to write business documents. I enrolled in Business and Professional Writing last fall, and learned valuable business writing techniques that will benefit your company. I worked my way through college as a shift manager at wendys working 40 hours a week. After my graduation, I worked at a veterinary clinic learning invaluable information about animal care, reception skills and time management. These skills helped me grow into my next role as a Patient Advocate at The Health Plan in Wheeling, WV where I assisted Meidcare customers obtain their costly medications through patient assistance programs from drug manufacturers. Taking my skills in the insurance field, I became a customer service representative for Cigna and worked specifically in the COVID 19 team for 2 years before joining the Eligibility team in August 2022 where I remain today servicing our clients and managing and updating eligibility for our partners.
