  Kelly Olson is a After graduating high school in 1996, I served a fulfilling 5 years in the United States Air Force as a Paralegal. After basic training and tech school, my enlistment took me to Germany and California. In the legal field I was able to work in claims, military justice, civil law and the tax center. After my husband was in a tragic military training accident, I chose to separate with an Honorable discharge and became a civilian court clerk. Upon his medical retirement in 2002, we chose to move to the east coast to start our new life as civilians…and parents! For almost 13 years, I was blessed to be free of corporate work obligations and able to be a stay-at-home parent to three boys. I took the opportunity to volunteer all I could at my their schools. From developing a PTO at a private school, procuring funds to create and implement a playground, to becoming a PTA president and event chair at their elementary and middle schools - my focus has always been on what I can do to help. I’m 2016, the time came that all of my children were to be in school full time and I was looking to redefine who I was. I took my leadership skills and my multi-tasking abilities and started working as a Project Coordinator. I am currently the Director of Operations at SmithWorx where I am able to coach those newest to our company on how to manage furniture projects of all sizes. I love that I am always challenged in different ways and that I am able to oversee projects from fruition to finish. It’s a great feeling to see projects come to life while companies create inspiring places for their employees to flourish! I look forward to connecting with you and helping in any way I can!
