Kelli Reid is a Kelli Reid is a 200 CYT (Certified Yoga Teacher) and Meditation Teacher from Namah Shivaya Yoga, under Yoga Acharya Tej Monga, in the lineage of Swami Sivananda, She has completed 8 of 13 months towards her 500 Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training certificate. In 2003, Kelli earned her Mat Pilates and Reformer certification. Additional training qualifies her as a "disciple" of Joseph Pilates. Kelli is certified and trained to teach most group exercise formats, including barre, kickboxing, boot camp, spinning, weight lifting and aqua formats, along with many others. She is passionate about helping students prevent and recover from injury and is exceptionally skilled teaching to beginners. Overall, she has earned over 18,000 teaching hours during her 20-year fitness career. Kelli is well known for her energy and enthusiasm. Her style is open and approachable. Personally, Kelli is mother to 11 year old boxer/Weimaraner Samwise and 10 year old Gigi Gimli, a cattle dog mix, who was her street rescue. She is a passionate volunteer for many animal rescue groups and animal legislation. Kelli is also a passionate activist, and was accepted into Al Gore's Climate Reality Project Leadership Corps, involved in education and advocacy related to climate change.
