As an entrepreneur I study Stoicism. Stoicism as the branch of ancient western philosophy focuses on mindfulness, resilience, creativity and more, all of which allows us to flourish. At Omniboost, I have used these convictions and learnings to create a platform to automate the mundane and derivative tasks that lessen creativity and give time and creativity back to humans, so they can focus on the more important things in life. As a company we’ve used these convictions to grow our business to 65 countries with close to 2500+ integrations and clients. All of which are managed through our offices in The Netherlands and the United States. We continue to grow, are opening locations in the Middle East and Asia, and are releasing new features and/or products on a monthly basis. In my personal life I am a proud husband to an amazing wife and father to two amazing daughters. We as a family love to travel the world and discover new countries, cultures and cities. At least once every 2 years we spend a couple of days in our favorite city: New York City. I started my career at the Tilburg University where I studied European Law, specializing in Intellectual Property and Mergers & Acquisitions. At Aython Corporate Finance & Business Development my working life started out as being a legal consultant. I soon thereafter started my own first company Tim_online (which I still own to this day) specializing in e-commerce and webbased software development. After running Tim_online for approximately 10 years and seeing constraints with regards to setting up and managing a scalable development environment, I, together with one lead developer, created the Omniboost ETL for managing integrations easier, faster and smarter. Truth be told Omniboost by accident stumbled upon the Hopsitality Industry. We simply were asked by a large accounting firm whether our Omniboost ETL could be used for hospitality integrations. Apparently, it could :) One week later I was on a plane, and there my awesome journey began….
