In her personal life, Keely is passionate about animal advocacy, Keely spent ten years as a professional pet photographer providing free photography services to several local shelters in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. In 2015 she received the H. Ted Olson Community impact award for her work at the DFW Humane Society. She shares her home with 12 rescue dogs, 3 cats and her husband.
