I have also worked at Site for SOCAR POLYMER Project, Azerbaijan as a Field Electrical Engineer for Polypropylene & High Density Polyethylene Plant guiding the Construction Group & Sub-contractor regarding the drawing / deliverables issued for construction, clash checks & resolve queries, Material Mapping & control, forecasting requirement of extra materials at site & their procurement in order not to affect the project schedule at site, due to lack of materials. • Control & updation of Plant Electrical User/Load List based on the continuous updates received during the engineering phase from different Departments Machinery / Static / Utility Package Vendors & continuous co-ordination with the Process dept. • Preparation of Single Line Drawings for the plant illustrating the overall power distribution system. • Preparation of the Material Requisition for the Electrical Itemized equipment such as Switchgear, Transformer, PFI, UPS etc. • Preparation of Technical Bid Evaluation for Electrical Itemized & Bulk Materials. • Co-ordination with other Departments for the updation received from the Package Vendors & input to Field Engineering Team. • Co-ordination with the Field Engineering related to Hazardous Area Classification, Cable Routing, Cable sizing, Skid Earthing, Local Control Stations & Lighting system of the Package unit for the Package equipment like MV & LV Motors, VSD Panels, Local Control Panels, Electrical heaters & Unit Transformers. • Preparation of Electrical Heat Tracing database, collecting information for all other disciplines such as Piping, Process, Instruments, Packages & also Civil in case of heated paving requirement at locations like Russia. • Cathodic Protection System database, collecting input from other disciplines.
