In 2020 I negotiated over 12 million in rent deferrals and forgiveness from 35 different landlords due to the COVID-19 pandemic's effect on our businesses, while maintaining impeccable relationships. In 2021 my team monetized over 22 million in surplus land and buildings, highly contributing to our achievement of positive cash flow. In addition to corporate responsibilities, from 2010-2013 I lead all aspects of Marcus' unprecedented development of The Corners of Brookfield, a 180 million, 750,000 SF upscale mixed-use shopping center in Brookfield, WI. I attracted Von Maur department store to locate its first Wisconsin store at The Corners and directed all project efforts including land assemblage, consultant team selection, special legislation, entitlements, design, anchor and fashion/retail/restaurant leasing, budgeting and financing.
