The GBGR itself allows us to quantify human rights and create a scale to measure the persecution of sexual minorities. The research that was conducted for this project is utilized by policymakers, academics and human rights activists in addition to anyone interested in the worldwide and specific country-specific state of human rights. This first-of its-kind measure has received a " $211,000 grant from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Astraea Lesbian Foundation for Justice" ( Durantine Par1). Elected as Treasurer of the Ware College House student government to help plan and facilitate events for students of the Ware College House.Elected as a representative for the Ware College House Parliament to report in and attend the overarching student government body's meetings (The Diplomatic Congress Meetings) and help facilitate communication as a liaison between this head student government body and one of the F&M college house's governments.
