Growing up, I never wanted to do accounting but I was always good at it because my mother is a CPA. I was always in her office helping her and the older I got, the more I was allow to handle. I started out helping with filing and shredding documents and then became her receptionist and bookkeeper by the time I graduated high school. After graduation, I decided to go to school to become a detective but life through me a curve ball and completely changed everything. I put school on hold to come to terms that becoming a detective was not in my future. I decided to pursue accounting as I was always good with numbers. Throughout my degree, I found forensic accounting which is a mixture of both careers. I have had a passion for it ever since. I graduated at the beginning of September 2021 with my Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with a specialization in Forensic Accounting. I am a hardworking and organized individual who wants to make a difference in the world. Even though I cannot do it through detective work within a police department, I hope to make a difference in my detective work through numbers.
