In order to make ends meet I started a position at a small tax firm in Toledo, Ohio preparing tax returns, and quickly realized that a life in tax returns was not the life for me. I had spent my whole life in the NW Ohio area, and it was time for a real change of scenery. I was offered my current position at Tetra Tech in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and immediately knew it was going to be a great fit. Up until this point I had been working exclusively in the accounting field, but that was about to change. My manager believed I had potential to fit into a position in an industry I had not previously known existed. In the past two years at Tetra Tech, I have grown so much in so many ways that I didn't believe was possible. My knowledge of contracts and the FAR grows every day and will guide me in the future to go on to do great things.
