Carlson & Associates, Lyme, CT + NYC. Decorative painting with David Carter, London Interior Design work with Victoria Dryden, CT She has worked on commercial and residential projects in London, New York, Dallas, Boston, Fishers Island Watch Hill, Hollywood and many local Connecticut towns. ART Kat uses multiple painting mediums, collage and line drawing to create intricate color-rich surfaces; techniques such as encaustic, venetian plaster, collage, dutch metal and acrylic. Pop culture, repetitive pattern, and line drawing inform her paintings. Art studies include RISD, Print Design, the International Institute Madrid Spain, School of Fine Art at Boston University, founding member and former Artist in Residence at Hygienic Art, New London, CT and a fellowship at Griffis and Orpheus Foundation, Bulgaria. In addition, she was a draftsman on the Sol LeWitt "Wall Drawing #1196" at the New Britain Museum of American Art.
