Is available to work in teams, makes presentations and supports training sessions as well as communicates regularly and maintain relationships with Operating organizations and Financial Services. -Assist in providing support in the development of schedules, interrogatory responses and general information for rate filings. • Implement and ensure compliance with Access procedural and general guidelines for the position • Prepare or direct preparation of financial statements, business activity reports, financial position forecasts, annual budgets or reports • Prepare monthly journal entries and various detailed analysis with special attention to inventory transactions and oversight of cycle and annual physical counts • Assist External Auditors during Annual Audit • Ensure that month and year end reports and statements are complete, accurate, and delivered in a timely manner • Develop and refine standard costs for manufacturing systems in order to reconcile and analyze variances between actual and standard costs in order to implement process improvements • Manipulate multiple financial and business systems to extract data and ensure transactions are accurately recorded • Review Accounts Receivable Aging Report and resolve balances • Post customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions • Review Depreciation, Sales Tax, Cash Receipts, and Sales transactions and record the appropriate journal entries • Review and post Building Allocations • Perform Account Reconciliations • Analyze General Ledger Accounts monthly and conduct research when necessary • Cross train staff when needed. • Responsible for timely completion/submission of billing transactions and reviewing for accuracy for multiple programs • Perform corrections as needed to ensure transaction completion and seek assistance when needed to minimize errors or loss revenue • Responsible to post transactions on subsidiary journals by using the appropriate software on a regular basis and perform daily routine reconciliations to ensure accuracy • Responsible to maintain/update client profiles and changed information • Responsible for creating a method of tracking all transactions and voids in order to create reports and assist with account reconciliations. • Worked with the Internal Auditor to design and update test plans to access the effectiveness of the controls for the current year • Arranged and conducted meetings with Company personnel at all levels to review their procedures and controls • Performed independent testing of controls and adequately documented the testing which included the major Accounting Processes (Accts Close, Accts Payable). • Completed rental contracts and meet customer needs • Audited rental contracts. - Provide customer service including resolving problems, opening accounts, and selling bank products such as debit cards - Handle transactions including deposits, withdrawals and loan deposits.
