Jimmy Johns corporate management training is a two week, comprehensive course in restaurant management based in Champaign IL ranging from brand standard expectations to managing sales numbers, projected sales as well as labor costs. You work with a team of other managers from all over the country to achieve your score graded nightly as well as in a final test in which I scored a 93 out of 100. I completed this course in July of 2017. Returning home I utilized the skills ad procedures taught to me to create a rewarding and positive work environment driving my average employee turn over rate to the lowest it had ever in previous years all while continually growing our community impact and day to day sales. Many of the tasks I worked on involved native Jimmy Johns software as well as use of Xcel and word. I created our schedule, managed our food costs, our labor costs as well as projected sales through these programs as well as the tools given to us on the corporate level. All of the tasks I do involve very strong leadership and communication skills as well as adapting to the ever changing day to day pace. I set an example to be clear and concise for my crew and the managers I lead with the expectation that they do the same for myself and for my customers. I work hard with them as a team to ensure no one person is tasked with all the work. I enjoy being able to grow people into being the best that they can be. Being social and learning about their interests and goals helps me to better understand exactly what they need from me to develop. Whether it is talking about sports or problems in their own lives I try to use the tools at my disposal to achieve whatever goal may be set. I personally enjoy everything from hiking and fishing to building computers for friends. I have many different interests to be able to experience as many things possible
