It requires the ability to simultaneously see both the big picture and the nitty-gritty details. It requires the ability to see patterns and, if needed, break the Gordian Knot. In finding an effective solution there is no place for false humility or pride. During my education and professional career this is what I was trained and am still training myself to do - especially in my capacity as product developer and working with R&D. I am always looking for opportunities that will enable me to grow. People Always have to be Part of the Solution I believe that every solution that does not take the human condition into account is not an effective solution. It is easy to believe that a solution would work great, if only people followed it. But sometimes it is actually quite simple, if it does not work, it does not work. Resources are Always Limited In solving a problem one must consider that time, money and people are limited resources - even though it may be tempting to ignore that fact. That does not mean that learning by failing is a waste of resources. It is only wasteful, if the same mistake is repeated, because one expects a different outcome.
