While working on my MA, I led the project Perceptions of Trauma and ACE Scores Among Honors College Freshmen at East Carolina University, which had IRB approval. I explored rates of Adverse Childhood Experiences and perceptions of trauma among ECU Honors College Freshmen. The project included semi-structured interviews and a sorting exercise. It was during this project that I discovered my desire to pursue a career in a helping profession.
