Later in life I decided to go back to school and become a Nurse Practitioner, however, I had taken the academics and was ready to start my clinicals when the opportunity to adopt a little girl from China become available. Having not been able to have children of my own and facing the difficulties of trying to adopt in the US there was no question to what I wanted. It was the best decision I made in my life and continues to bring me the most joy. I continue to manage the office of Dr. Ellias but since leaving Skin MD I have added cosmetic procedures to the practice here. I am doing Botox injections and fillers and have an IPL machine which helps with brown spots, rosacea and actinic keratosis. I currently do not sell skin care products,except Latissse, however, recommend them as needed and let others know where they are available. I try to recommend products patient's will use and can afford. I have also added a totally different path to my career. I am a calligrapher where I was introduced to Zentangles. I am now a Certified Zentangle teacher and hope to bring this wonderful art form that let's people create, relax, and learn to slip into the sense of mindfulness. It is great for any age group.
