Drafting was too boring to bear until they brought in ProENGINEER (now CREO). 2D drafting became 3D sculpting and I was hooked. I have been fortunate to supplement CAD modeling with Adobe illustration for a wide variety of companies in R&D ever since. I am creative and innovative and happiest in R&D Engineering and Design. I have been at my current position since 2010 involved primarily with labeling and Technical Illustration. I do not get much CAD modeling and I do miss it. I love working for a company that makes life saving products.
