I am a polyglot and my areas of interest range from Shakespeare Studies, Translation studies, Indian Writing in English and in translation, English Language Teaching, Classical Indian Poetics, to Dalit Literature. I topped MA (English) at Ramjas College, University of Delhi and  went on to complete my M.Phil. on Shashi Tharoor's fiction from Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI). I'm working on Indian Women's Writing in translation for my doctoral degree, from JMI. I have published several articles in ISSN journals apart from co-authoring a beginner's handbook on Translation. My book-reviews have been published in national and international dailies, journals and periodicals. I am a member of the editorial board of the literary e-journal: Lapis Lazuli- An International Literary Journal (ISSN: 2249-4529), apart from many prestigious academic organisations like the Comparative Literature Association of India, The Shakespeare Society of India, Forum for teachers of English Language and Literature, and IATEFL Birmingham, UK, among others. I write poetry in both English and Hindi, and am an avid follower of national and international politics. I have also dabbled with the ancient Japanese form of Haiku.
