Les Mills mission is to plug kids back into their innate need to move, and the joy, vitality and self-esteem that comes with it. BORN TO MOVE is not merely another way to coerce kids into 'exercise' or 'sport'. We recognise that those terms come with baggage for many kids, especially energy conservers, who may avoid activities they see as competitive or a risk to their self-esteem. Instead, BORN TO MOVE builds confidence and develops skills by stealth, using simple moves, roleplaying, stories, games, team building, performance, problem solving and the magic of music. We employ fun as the Trojan horse. The continuous programme takes kids from toddler age through to their teens, fostering and cementing positive physical habits until they are hardwired for a lifetime. Les Mills have the expertise and scale to deliver results to our kids. Isn't that what we want for our kids? Physical wellbeing, self-belief and a positive world view.
