  Justin Mcgiffen is a After being raised on a small farm in southwest Indiana, I studied business at Valparaiso University, graduating summa cum laude with a double-major in accounting and finance. During law school at Indiana University's McKinney School of Law: (1) I was an Associate Editor of the Indiana Law Review and achieved Order of the Barristers in the school’s intramural moot court competition; (2) I served on campus as a Justice on the Supreme Court of Student Governance and as a member of IUPUI’s Parking Appeals Committee; and (3) in addition to my coursework and my roles on campus, I interned with the Indiana Securities Commission, externed for Judge Heather Welch, clerked at both a private law firm and the Indiana Attorney General’s Office, and provided legal assistance to the less fortunate as a fellow with Indiana Legal Services’ Consumer Advocacy Project. After passing the bar, I honed my research and writing skills as a full-time law clerk with the Indiana Commercial Court, whereby I served Judges Richard D'Amour of Evansville and Maria Granger of New Albany for four years. I then spent approximately one year honing my deposition and trials skills as a Deputy Prosecutor, before joining the business litigation practice group of Katz Korin and Cunningham.
