Born in Scotland, he completed his primary medical degree from the University of Aberdeen, U.K in 2005 and continued his post graduate medical training as a junior doctor in the main teaching Hospital in Glasgow, working in the U.K.’s National Health Service (NHS). Obtaining Membership to both the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (MRCS 2011) and Royal College of General Practitioners in London (MRCGP 2012). Moving to Melbourne in 2013 for a working holiday for a year, he obtained Fellowship to the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP), working in a busy and diverse G.P. Medical Practice in the City’s Western Suburb, Point Cook. Shortly after moving to Melbourne, he met his wife and the couple moved to the Alpine Shire area in 2016 for a tree change and to start the next chapter of their lives together, a family and enjoy the benefits of a country lifestyle and community. At Alba Health, we aim to tailor our medical care to treat the person as a whole, providing holistic, high quality and patient centered care - not just focusing on treating the disease process.
