Julie Samms is a I am the Dean of Nursing and Allied Health at Bellingham Technical College. I supervise over 60 faculty and staff across 17 programs and 2 ancillary units that serve around 300 students. I have a master's degree in Nursing Education with a specialty in program development and implementation. In addition to extensive experience as a nurse educator and healthcare administrator, I have provided direct patient care in diverse settings that include skilled nursing, outpatient clinics and procedures, and inpatient acute and critical care units. It is my goal to improve the delivery of healthcare for my community and beyond through the development of high-quality education that produces skilled graduates who are able to deliver quality care and think critically about their patients and their facilities.
