After having children Julie decided to take the opportunity to reassess her career path and retrain. Julie is aware how difficult it can be to get out of your own way and make decisions to align to your authentic self and ultimately be free to be your true self. Having connected to the right support to overcome her own self-limiting behaviours Julie was then able to use her experience, training, innate skills and strengths to help others. She decided to begin her own business helping people align to their own authentic self by founding Liberations in 2007 helping people as a Life coach, Meditation Tutor, Reflexologist, Reiki Practitioner and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) Practitioner. Julie has also recently worked as a Therapeutic Mentor for a local charity, and as a mentor coach for Teach First students. Julie works with people of all ages, across many professions, and specialises in working with neurodiverse children, teens and young adults. She is passionate about her approach describing it as heart-centered support promoting a sense of well-being, balance and clear thinking. Julie's clients say she has an instinctive ability to radiate trust and intuitively provides a safe space for people to challenge themselves and be moved to action, resulting in sustainable change. Her coaching style is described as powerful yet subtle, calm, creative and professional. She provides a space of ease yet challenge and without judgment, resulting in impactful change. Julie is passionate about education and teaching and works in these sectors with the aim of promoting a supportive learning environment. She has also worked as a volunteer coach for Teach First - a charity dedicated to addressing educational disadvantage by transforming exceptional graduates into effective, inspirational teachers. Julie believes the different roles and modalities she has experience of, has led her to be able to witness the fulfilment that connecting to our own strengths, values and personal authenticity brings to our lives.
