Dr. Schaening obtained his M.D. from the University Of Puerto Rico School Of Medicine. He specialized in Internal Medicine at the Department of Health, University District Hospital in Puerto Rico. He has a Bachelor degree in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico where he did research in the field of cellular molecular biology through a scholarship from the Minority Access for Research Careers Honor Program. He is fully bilingual (English and Spanish).
