I am skilled at working in a design team, considering new ideas and building them with CAD (computer aided design). I have shown my ability to lead a team by respecting ideas, learning from mistakes, and encouraging members to provide quality work. To further develop these skills, I worked as a part of a 4-person team for foundations of mechanical systems to design and build a working prototype of a multi-pencil. This project was completely designed on SOLIDWORKS, exported to a 3-D printer, and mathematically analyzed. Completing this project allowed me to learn how to effectively lead a team respecting ideas, learning from mistakes, and encouraging each member to use their strengths towards building the best product we could. Two internships have allowed me the opportunity to develop the basic tools developed in class and utilize this knowledge to provide value to these companies. These specialized skills include proficiency with AutoCAD and REVIT, Ability to design Mechanical and Plumbing systems, development of process engineering tests, and analyzing and presenting data. I am a quick learner and have the energy to provide constant high quality work and new ideas. I use this passion in every part of my life from working to exploring the outdoors kayaking on a river, hiking through a forest, or climbing mountain peaks.
