Development & Delivery: • Built AWS infra using puppet to manage the deployment of all code related to uChat a completely internal replacement for Hippchat based on Mattermost. • Delivered endpoint automation to implement Infrastructure as Code (IAC) at Visa resulting in end-to-end automation that could have any developer coding day one of their hires. • Delivered the needed end-to-end automation of Hadoop using Chef to allow for the delivery of over 400 hadoop nodes. • Led Delivery pipeline effort for all infrastructure code, enabling Chef code to be tested and deployed without human interaction. Strategy & Innovation: • Built the corporate strategy for IAC for Visa. • Built a new test harness around Puppets to automate how teams use and test with puppet. • Worked to change how Visa and UBER implemented DevOps. • Leveraged personal communication and strategy skills to keep new management involved and supportive of the project.
