This can see me advising on European cross-border legislation (known as Brussels IV) and tax treaties or, where assets are owned outside of Europe, liaising with local intermediaries and agents in order to fully administer an estate and clear any relevant tax liabilities (in both jurisdictions). I work with other intermediaries (accountants, financial advisors, lawyers, and notaries) in order to provide a complete and joined up succession plan and am very happy to be used as a sounding board for any legal issues. Whilst I am not a French lawyer, I studied law at a French university and am always pleased when I can practise my French. I also previously headed up an employee LGBT+ network and am passionate about equality in the workplace and society.
