Joshua Kohn Email & Phone Number | I have been working at nonprofit organizations since I graduated from Syracuse University. I started off in the Development office of the Museum of Fine Arts. I was hired as a Development Assistant where I was in charge of processing the majority of the charitable gifts that came into the museum. I also drafted communications to many of the Museum’s donors. Finally, I was in charge of maintaining the donor database. After two years I promoted to Development Associate. I learned how to program reports in both Microsoft Excel and Crystal Reports. I also started creating reports for the financial department of the Museum. Finally I was tasked with training all the new Operations assistants that started at the Museum. I take pride in the fact that all these assistants went on to be promoted at the museum. In 2014 I moved to New York and started as a Student Services Manager at an Achievement First Elementary School in East New York Brooklyn. I have been the cultural Operations Manager at the school for the last 4 years. As a cultural manager I own the school’s attendance systems. I also coordinate all our bussing with the Department of Education. This means I am in charge of making sure 450 students go home safe every day. I organize the school’s lunch and health services. Finally, I create excel reports for the culture and academic teams at the school.
