Joshua Brown Email & Phone Number | I love audio! From a very young age, I knew I wanted to work with audio, and I have since realized that dream. After graduating from Full Sail University in Florida in 2004, I decided to focus on audio production and post-production. In 2005, I took a chance and moved to San Francisco, which is where my long journey towards audio production and post-production mastery really picked up steam. Starting out as a freelancer, I worked my way through countless projects before being hired as an Assistant Audio Producer at Lieberman Productions in 2008. Over the years I’ve been promoted all the way up to managing the department, and have literally mixed thousands of hours of material intended for television and radio broadcast, as well as internet distribution. If it can be mixed, I can mix it! I also love computers! Always looking for new challenges, in May of 2017 I decided to enroll in a one-year, online Web Development course at Bloc. I learned an immense amount from this program, and look forward to learning even more. I have always had a fascination with computers, and became fairly familiar with the BASH terminal over many years of using macOS and multiple flavors of Linux. Software development seemed like the logical next step for me, and I’m extremely happy that I have once again tested my boundaries and gotten out of my comfort zone. Not content stopping there, I've also managed to teach myself Adobe Premiere and After Effects. As those programs are industry standards, it seemed like a good idea to learn how to use them. They're a natural extension to my audio skills, and learning them has rounded out my skill set in media creation. In my spare time I enjoy hiking with my wife and German Shepherd, photography, gardening, video games, music (I’m in a band that’s signed to a label out of Los Angeles) and tinkering with computers.
