Starting my career as an engineer, I rose through the ranks at GM to become Director, Global Supply Chain Engineering. GM helped shape my leadership skills, along with giving me a worldview that comes from living in Europe for an extended period and the global teams I have led. Joining DENCAP in 2006 as executive vice president, I continue to enjoy the challenges and rewards of an entrepreneurial career – an experience that is nurtured and supported by my active membership in Entrepreneurs Organization (EO) – Detroit Chapter. Recent career highlights include planning and implementing the strategic purchase of Golden Dental Plans in 2023. Among my chief interests at work are developing and sustaining a diverse and harmonious workplace. I like to quote my dad in saying, “The diversity of our employees is a huge strength. It only helps our business.” Providing outstanding customer service from our Detroit headquarters is also critical to our success, as is our longstanding commitment to initiatives focused on improving the quality of life in Detroit and beyond. A dedicated Kiwanian, I’m honored to spearhead DENCAP’S efforts with Books for Kids, which has given away 2 million+ books to Detroit-area youth since its founding in 2001 by my dad and his fellow Kiwanians from the Detroit Kiwanis Club #1.
