We have a responsibility to advise our colleagues as well as strategic leaders so that as much information is know to support strategic decision making. During my time in the fire service i have successfully obtained specialist skills and qualifications which has allowed me to provide advice, guidance and support during emergency incidents. I have taken charge of a number of large and high profile emergency incidents within dynamic and stressful situations. I am extremely proud of the unique opportunities i have been able to experience as a result of my career within the fire service. It has provided me with skills, experience and knowledge that has made me a better fire officer and a more effective and efficient person in and out of work.
