We usually are strong at the development phase and delivery phase. Yet we often do not think of the users. Comes to mind the ADKAR principle and I am committed to promote the Awareness/Desire through a bigger lens. Get the right people at the table so that from an operational stand point, users are implicated in the decisions that impact THEM from the beginning. To bridge policy makers/visionaries at the administrative level and need for data, with the reality of corrections at the institutional levels. In my opinion, to get good data, you have to include the people in the discussions that will provide you such data. Engaging with people and understanding their business needs is one of my key strengths to get initiatives through the gating process (SMLC). Facilitation skills, training skills, understanding the correctional service dynamics from an IT perspective have been my solutions to efficient client service.
