Jrg PancakeSteeg is a Currently we are working on turning the airline industry upside down by developing dynamic pricing for NDC solutions. Dynamic pricing focuses at the moment on pricing of the flight products, but will be extended in the near future to dynamic bundling and dynamic pricing of ancillaries. My educational background lies in the areas of Optimization and Operations Research. I gained my PhD in mathematics with a thesis about analyzing and solving the problem of assigning and routing of nurses in a home health care service. The focus was not only on solving the problem theoretically, but also implementing the corresponding algorithms in C++ and C#. After my thesis, I accepted a job at a major traffic planning company where I contribute to the improvement of the traffic planning software. Here, knowledge of Java and Eclipse RCP was required. I moved on to Lufthansa Systems were I am head of Commercial Products. Mainly my team and I are working on our Fare Management Solution ProfitLine/Price. Languages: - German (mother tongue) - English (fluent) - Spanish (advanced knowledge) - French (basic knowledge)
