While working in a private practice healthcare setting managing electronic medical records and completing the internship phase of my Master of Arts Counseling, I simultaneously completed the online certificate program for Human Resources Management through eCornell/ Cornell ILR School. This led to assisting in some HR functions for the private medical practice. I am passionately focused and interested in growth opportunities in healthcare management. My unique blend of healthcare experience as a clinical therapist (a provider), as a business associate, and my education in Psychology, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and Human Resources have prepared me to understand the healthcare industry on a deeper level. My particular synthesis of experience as a both a provider and otherwise has created a passion within me to insure that the clinical and the administrative portions of the healthcare sector communicate more effectively in order to better serve the client/patient. The cornerstone of my practice is to provide high-quality healthcare experiences to anyone with whom I come in contact and to make efficient the processes that can unfortunately render negative experiences for the patient/client. In effort to further develop my knowledge base in regards to organizational development, I have taken classes via Lynda.com for the following: Organization Communication and Building Creative Organizations.
