Jordan Email & Phone Number | I'm Jordan Butler, graduate from UEAs School of Computing Sciences. I quite enjoy the designing of software, but excel when I get in to the implementation itself, it's a nice challenge to find a elegant solution to the various problems we face in software systems development, and the reward just drives me to find bigger, tougher problems in my spare time. After four years of education and exploring various areas of computer science I would like to think I've developed a good range of skills! Of all the topics covered, few interested me quite as much as high-performance computing. Attempting to develop software in a way that it is readily scalable for use on any computer system, single-core to many-core provides some interesting challenges and was the main inspiration behind my Masters project at the end of my degree. Outside of programming I do enjoy cycling, which has gotten harder since I don't have a bike any more. When not doing any of the above I tend to look in to game design and level design for video games, it provides some interesting problems and is just generally quite interesting as a topic.
