Eventually, my children returned to school for in person instruction; however, instead of returning to my practice of law, I began working for Amazon in December 2020 where I quickly became a "Learning Ambassador" working primarily in the Problem Solve unit of the Amazon Fulfillment Engine ('AFE'). In December 2021, Amazon fully sponsored my enrollment in an 8 month intense bootcamp course in data analytics - a crash course in Python programming, statistical modeling, and data visualization. Final Grade: 97.3 percent. Languages: Python, SQL Predictive Analytics: Linear/Logistic Regression, Polynomial Regression, Classification, Decision Tree techniques, Clustering analysis, Gradient Descent, Random Forest, Feature Selection. I can now scrape websites, utilize APIs, parse JSON, and wield a range of pythonic packages for data exploration, data cleaning, data engineering, data visualization, and predictive modeling; including but not limited to the following: Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn, SciPy, TensorFlow, Requests, Sickit-learn, StatsModels, PandaSQL, SQLite, and many others. Other tools: Tableau, MongoDB, AWS Sagemaker, AWS Quicksight, and knowledge of other AWS tools. I have many years of experience explaining complicated subject matter to large groups of decision makers, including Judges and Jurys. I am a master wordsmith trained in making objective sense out of complicated material. My ability to synthesize data results and communicate analysis to decision makers in a clear and meaningful way separates me from similarly positioned data analysts early in their career. I am seeking opportunities to work cross functionally within a data driven technology organization where I will have opportunities to architect technology solutions and deliver strategic insights through data analysis.
