Then I moved to MediaVest, part of Starcom Mediavest (now part of Aegis), and grew their Search department from around 20 to over 40 people, including setting up the SEO team. As VP & MD EMEA at Marin Software the company won the following awards: Best PPC Management Software – UK Search Awards in 2011, 2013 and 2014 Best PPC Management Software – European Search Awards 2012, 2013 and 2015 Best Use of Search - Finance with Moneysupermarket.com at European Search Awards in 2014 Best use of PPC Innovation with Moneysupermarket.com at the DADI Awards in 2014 More recently I have been responsible for DeepCrawl Global Customers and Staff in 2 offices in UK and US. Driving growth of revenue in new business sales, retention of customers, and adoption of the platform and global marketing of the company and product. I was also a member of the Senior Leadership team and the board. Helping take the company through a Series A investment round (June 17) and establishing the ground for more investment. In my time there we won a total of 3 awards for best in class in SEO Software and personally picked up the UK Search Personality of the Year Award in 2017 for my efforts. Since starting Ascending Media offering my freelance services around Digital Marketing and SEO. I have also worked with companies as a strategic advisor, NED and Chairman of the Board. I have experience in Paid Search since its inception, and has also worked heavily in SEO, Display and Paid Social over the years.
