Jon Baskin is a My work has earned Emmy, Promax, Monitor and New York Festival awards. I have worked on staff and as a freelancer at networks like HBO, Discovery, ABC, CBS and USA. I earned two consecutive Emmys for my work on Inside The NFL and another nomination for Outstanding Journalism for work on Real Sports With Bryant Gumbel. I was Supervising Editor on the 10-part season of Surgeon Oz for OWN (Fall 2014) and the second season of True Crime With Aphrodite Jones for Investigation Discovery. The premiere episode of True Crime earned the 5th highest rating in the network's history. I was also Supervising Editor on a web series for Delta Airlines (Digitas/Washington Square Films). Other commercial clients have included companies like Revlon, GM, Culligan Water and Time Warner Cable. I cut the feature documentary The Lady In Question Is Charles Busch, which premiered at The Tribeca Film Festival and aired on The Sundance Channel. I have also cut documentaries for HBO's The Wire and Big Love. Additionally, I teach production and editing at The NYU School of Continuing Education.
