I began representing the Accountancy Board of Ohio as the Board's legal counsel in August, 2000. In January 2013 I became the Executive Director. All of the Board's meetings are open to the public and I invite you all to attend. The meetings are held in the Vern Riffe Center in Columbus. The meeting schedule is published on the Board's webpage (acc.ohio.gov). In 2015, the Board began scheduling a September college meeting. Our first college meeting was held at The Ohio State University. The following year we met at University of Cincinnati. Last year, we met at the Cleveland Botanical Gardens, hosted by Case Western Reserve University. This year's college Board meeting will be held at the University of Akron on September 7, 2018. All surrounding colleges and universities are invited to attend. As always, the meeting is open to the public. Our featured speaker will be Colleen K. Conrad, CPA. Colleen serves as Chief Operating Officer of the National Association of State Boards of Accounting (NASBA). She is responsible for all operations of NASBA, including the CPA Examination, licensing and continuing education. There will also be speakers from the Ohio Society of CPAs (OSCPA). All are welcome
