John Maxwell Email & Phone Number | My background is primarily in public service as a line paramedic and firefighter. I started as a volunteer firefighter in 1988 and worked towards getting a paid career after that. I have worked in ambulances, engines, rescues, and truck companies at various fire and EMS transport departments around the State of Oregon with various successes. In April of 2002, I got hired as a firefighter/Paramedic at Lane Rural Fire/Rescue outside Eugene, Oregon and have essentially been there since then. I got hired as a training officer at Lane Rural (Now known as Lane Fire Authority) in February of 2011 and stepped down from training due to the need to have more time and less responsibilities so I could take care of aging family members as of September of 2018. Transferred back to an Engineer/Paramedic position at Lane Fire Authority as of September 21st of 2018. I am still an asset to the agency and work on projects and training activities as needed. Once family stressors are managed better in the future, my goals would be to try and work toward earning a division chief level job with my current agency if at all possible.
