I have also developed and implemented capacity building strategies for in-country program managers to promote data use and to build skills in data analysis and interpretation of national demographic and health surveys. I have strong training and facilitation skills and am fluent in written and oral Spanish. I also possess strong cross-cultural skills, with nearly three years of living in Central America (Nicaragua) and over 10 years of working in the region. I have over seven years of experience managing US Government cooperative agreements, including project work plans, budgets and performance management plans. I am a graduate of Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine where I focused my studies on program management and monitoring and evaluation. I received a BA in environmental science and international studies from Northwestern University.
