As a Sergeant in the Homeland Security Division his responsibilities included safeguarding and protecting more than 2.2 billion in critical infrastructure assets, while concurrently managing the security operations at 12 separate facilities spread across a 200 square mile area. John also served as a Program Dean for the Physical and Cyber Security Management degree programs at the University of Phoenix. He was responsible for the direction and the development of the Associate and Bachelor degree programs, which were built around a security management core curriculum. John Ferranti holds an MBA from Grand Canyon University, a Graduate Studies Certificate in Advanced Forensic Accounting, and a Bachelor of Science in Career and Technical Education. In addition, he had the honor of attending the United States Naval Academy. John Ferranti is recognized as a Subject Matter Expert in Security Operations and Anti-Terrorism Procedures by the University of Phoenix and ASIS. As a Certified Protection Professional he is Board Certified in Security Management.
