One of my major responsibilities is growing and improving the MJEC AD value proposition through a strategic approach to brand alignment and creating a continuous pipeline of sales opportunities for MJEC sales personnel. A second major responsibility is working closely with inside and outside sales teams, ensuring we are hitting and building on our metrics of project quoting, project follow up, project closing and successful project execution. Sometimes it means I’m an inside sales person for days at a time, making sure target deadlines are met. My philosophy is simple: 1) Never ask some one to do something you can’t also do yourself. 2) Humility is key. There is never a role that is “beneath” the leader. The leader can always admit when they need help, and does not have to know everything. Every member contributes something special and may present ideas that deserve to be heard. 3) Respect is always earned, it doesn’t accompany a title. For MJEC, collaboration, helping others and foundation building comes first, while earning individual achievement and success comes second. For us, we believe that a rising tide raises all boats. My service oriented foundation was formed from a background of application engineering, product management, product marketing, customer service, regional management and business development. This varied past experience coupled with years of customer service, food service production and department management affords me a unique perspective that allows me to step into almost any business scenario and quickly begin adding value.
