  Jock Grady is a (Raised in Wiradjuri country, resident of Awabakal land) Passionate about helping people transform their thinking and ways of working, I am a creative architect and agent of positive change, particularly in digitally enabled workplaces where I drive hard to deliver successful innovative programs. The breadth and depth of my experience, gained over more than 30 years across many industry sectors and business settings, enables me to do this by creating and communicating compelling narratives, coherent visualisations of strategy and metrics, and concise reporting underpinned by meaningful analytics. CAREER OVERVIEW After several years working as a project and liaison officer with the Australian Navy (Fleet Air Arm), I returned to post-graduate study, taught my computer to paint using software I developed myself, and then moved into tertiary arts and IT education, teaching Fine Arts, Design, Multimedia and Aboriginal Arts subjects in university and TAFE environments. Later, I embraced an opportunity to project manage the andragogical and UI/UX design components of a joint Microsoft/TAFE project working on development of an early LMS (Learning Management System). This work led to me being awarded an ANTA Flexible Learning Fellowship (only recipient from NSW in history of the program) to study the emerging field of eLearning internationally. Building on my eLearning research I secured internal venture funding from Hunter Institute and founded a highly successful learning innovation centre in Newcastle, ITALIC (Institute Teaching and Learning Innovation Centre), which became the benchmark for NSW TAFE flexible learning development. My involvement at a national level in the development of flexible/online learning ramped up when I took the opportunity to manage LearnScope in NSW, an Australian Government program to develop eLearning and eBusiness capacity in the Australian training sector. From there I moved into the private sector as National Learning & Development Manager for a major national community services organisation, and later worked as a digital learning, innovation, and transformation consultant in public and corporate sectors, including with several major national and multinational companies, across the energy, mining, telecommunications, community services and software development sectors. Most recently my focus has been on strategy development, research, planning, stakeholder influence/engagement, communications, and governance for a major (>120M) digital transformation project in the financial services (banking) sector.
