My challenge is to lead a great team that develops, negotiates and monitors agreements with provider networks so that together we can improve member experience, care, and affordability. HealthPartners is a consumer-governed, non-profit health care organization with a mission to improve health and well-being in partnership with members, patients, and the community.Over four years I led an association of health plans to bring people together to find practical solutions to an urgent problem - accessible and affordable care. The Council represents the seven nonprofit health insurance companies in Minnesota, but we routinely work together with people who provide care, elected leaders, scholars and community advocates. Bringing down the expense of health care and making it accessible to everyone are ambitious goals. The Council believes that we can solve them together.
